Kendall Mead Shares his Story at the Higgins Lake Golf Outing

RE/MAX of Higgins Lake, hosted their 10th Annual Children’s Miracle Network Golf Outing on Tuesday, June 18 raising more than $25,000! In 10 years, they have raised more than $140,000 for Children’s Miracle Network and Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital (HDVCH).

Kendall Mead, a patient at HDVCH shared his story with attendees and presented a special plaque to RE/MAX of Higgins Lake Owner, Diane Ocenasek.

While it’s almost a 2 ½ hour drive from Roscommon (where their office is located), to HDVCH, they recognize how vital the hospital is to their community.

In 2018, HDVCH had 339 outpatient visits and 42 inpatient visits from kids in Roscommon County. The funds raised through the golf outing support essential programs and services at the hospital.  Those program rely on philanthropy to exist.
