Level up for Charity, Gives with Extra Life!
For over 6 years, Level up for Charity has played as an Extra Life team here in Grand Rapids. Last weekend, they hosted a 24-hour live stream event with a goal to raise $2,000 for the programs locally at Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital (HDVCH). On Saturday, August 24 the team of 4 started streaming at 10 a.m. filling their day with challenges to their viewers, and discussing the impact each dollar raised has on their local CMN hospital, HDVCH.
Around 3 p.m. the team welcomed a one-in-a-million miracle kid, Kendall mead to not only share his story live via streaming, but of course play games and help raise funds!
After 24-hours, the team successfully raised $3,066!
Jordan and Dylan from Level Up for Charity stopped by to drop off their check and take a tour of the children’s hospital. They are still working on raising more funds, and continue to make an impact in the Extra Life community in West Michigan!
