2019 Speedway CMN Picnic!

Managers and staff from West Michigan Speedways came together for a fun afternoon to celebrate their fundraising efforts for local Children’s Miracle Network Hospital, Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital (HDVCH).   Filled with yard games, hot dogs, and lots of water to keep cool, the summer afternoon highlighted many great stories of how HDVCH has personally impacted Speedway staff.

A Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital Miracle Family was able to share their personal story and thank Speedway for the fundraising that has helped their family. Brandon Troost, born 15 weeks early and weighing only 1 lb 9 oz! Brandon spent 16 weeks in the Gerber Foundation Neonatal Center (NICU) at HDVCH, now a busy 4-year-old who loves playing outside and working with his daddy.

Later in the afternoon, Awards were handed out to the stores who go above and beyond. Congratulations to the following store:

Pies in the face were given to the district managers whose districts had the lowest per store average during CMN Focus Days for the months of March, April, May, June & July.

We love seeing how fun and creative Speedway gets around their fundraising for CMN. Keep up the great work Speedway… you are saving and changing so many lives! Thank you!
