‘Stealing’ Your Loose Change for HDVCH!
We are proud to highlight and thank a few of our outstanding Children’s Miracle Network (CMN) corporate partners for their support in our Change Bandits program, benefiting Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital (HDVCH) and CMN. One of our Change Bandit champion’s, Residence Inn Grand Rapids Airport, has been involved in the program for two and half years. Earlier this month, they made a donation of over $470 from spare change!
As a champion, Residence Inn employees engage local businesses to become involved in the Change Bandit Program. Last year, our champions were able to add two amazing businesses into the program, Nothing Bundt Cakes and Thornapple Brewing. Since January 2019, Nothing Bundt Cakes collected $576 for HDVCH. Thornapple Brewing collected over $185, using our new preemie change bandits. Those nickels, dimes and quarters really start to add up and help provide exceptional care to every child at HDVCH.
More about the Change Bandit program and how to get involved!
Each bandit has been decorated and personalized by child patients and friends of HDVCH, then adopted by businesses in the community. We recently implemented the preemie bandits, a miniature version of the full-sized bandit.
