CMN Miracle Champion, Kendall Mead celebrating one year in remission!

Kendall Mead visited CMN Hospital, Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital (HDVCH) back in 2016.  After further testing Kendall was diagnosed with Evans Syndrome.  Evans Syndrome is a rare autoimmune disorder in which the immune system destroys the body’s red blood cells , white blood cells and/or platelets. Kendall started treatment at Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital (HDVCH) and was put in remission in 2018.  Today, Kendall continues to shares his story with family, friends, CMN Dance Marathons and many more.

This weekend, Kendall got to share his story with CMN partner, Ace Hardware.  More specific, they got to hear Kendall’s journey, and how the donations they received, helped in his fight with Evans Syndrome.

In 2018, our local Ace Hardware stores raised over $60,000 for HDVCH thru CMN campaigns.  Currently Ace Hardware are asking customers to ‘Round Up’ their purchases for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.

We want to send a THANK YOU to all the participating Ace Hardware stores!

Let’s all join Kendall in celebrating his one-year in remission!!!!
